To ensure safe filling, PET bottles must fulfil the following requirements:
- Microbiological protection for food
- Dimensional stability during filling
- Low weight for efficient packaging
- Simple labelling

Can recycled PET (rPET) be used for hotfill bottles?
Yes, the use of rPET is possible. However, to ensure that the high requirements for hot filling are met, we recommend limiting the proportion of rPET to a maximum of 50 %.
